Believe it or not, it’s already that time. Though we’re still accepting applications for the coming school year, our Early Childhood Education program is at near capacity. The take-away lesson? It’s never too early to apply to DMIS. Each year, we host several open houses to introduce families to our globally minded community. Please join us for one of those meetings.

The Denver area’s oldest international school will begin its 33rd academic year and invites everyone to be a part of our long tradition of excellence in full-immersion, bilingual education. DMIS CONTINUES TO SHINE

Whew! It has been a busy – and productive – summer. While students were away, DMIS was hard at work making improvements to its 6.4-acre campus in Denver’s Lowry neighborhood. We’re proud of our new performing arts stage and cafeteria; the addition of new classrooms to accommodate our increase in student enrollment; our small community garden designed and built by devoted DMIS parent volunteers Val Schwebach and Robert Hearne;  and the beautiful, new Spanish-tile roof on our Early Childhood Education building.

LEARN MORE ABOUT DMIS’ NEW MIDDLE SCHOOL

DMIS will open a middle school in the fall of 2011, starting with the 6th grade. DMIS hopes to become an IB World School, offering the Middle Years Programme for its students. To learn more, attend the Middle School Open House from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sat., Sept. 25.  DMIS will waive its $150 application fee for families who submit applications and a coupon to the middle school by Dec. 1.
