Creativity and Athleticism Define Summer’s 2nd Week!

After a great first week, we’ve kept our momentum with another excellent week of camp. From multi-lingual Creation Stations to camper designed Le Club, soccer tournaments to dancing — we had it all. A good design is often at the heart of success, and that’s what our campers showed us this week. Our language camps of all ages designed an amazing series of experiments and construction projects, like butterfly visors,  tornado bottles and bubbles at the Children’s Museum. Our 3&4 Variety Camp engineered their way through impressive designs, using Legos to build cranes and marshmallows and toothpicks to construct impressive buildings. Meanwhile Le Club designed their entire camp, coming up with fantastic field trips to places like Belleview Park and the Boulder Ice Cream Factory while also playing games and creating their own pudding!

Throughout the week, the Soccer and Dance camps echoed this creativity, as our budding soccer players put together passes and plays that could defeat the best of goalies (which we clearly are!). And finally, our Dance club put together an incredible performance to Beyonce’s “Move Your Body”, mixing styles and choreography and wrapping up by teaching us all the intricacies of line dancing. Again, an amazing week that astonished all of us!
