DMIS Supports Half the Sky Foundation

DMIS proudly supports Half the Sky Foundation, which works to provide nurturing care for China’s orphaned children. DMIS parents, teachers and staff will be attending the Inaugural Denver Community Celebration held at 6:30 p.m. on Thurs., May 12 at the Four Seasons Hotel located in downtown Denver. Half the Sky Foundation (HTS) was created in 1998 in order to enrich the lives of orphaned children living in China’s social welfare institutions. The Foundation is named for the Chinese adage, “Women hold up half the sky,” to denote the fact that the majority of healthy babies abandoned in China are girls. DMIS is proud to support such a phenomenal organization.
