It’s a Bird! It’s a Plane! No, it’s Super Campers!

Well, actually, it was all of those things and more this week. From birds and creatures of all sizes with our language camps, planes and other engineering creations, ball games with 3 and 4-year-olds, and adventures with Le Club and Musketeers, our campers truly were super! With our engineers, marshmallow-spaghetti skyscrapers and Lego airplanes and cars were the norm – magnificent creations that demonstrated great ingenuity. Our language camps demonstrated the same ingenuity as they recreated African safaris, butterflies,  worms and many more creatures in their camps before visiting the Belleview Petting Zoo and Denver Zoo to see their subjects up close. As these camps explored the worlds of biology and engineering, our 3&4 year old variety camp developed their athletic prowess as they learned to control their bodies as well as the balls they passed, threw, kicked, and rolled all week long.

Meanwhile, our Musketeer camp set new standards for fun as they studied the art of swordplay with renowned fencing instructors and explored the history and romance of warriors from the past.  Le Club continued upping the ante, as they literally raised themselves to new heights rock climbing on Lookout Mountain and made their counselors green with envy as they sank holes-in-one in miniature golf. Yet in the end, that is what we strive for.. campers that can out-fun the best of ‘em, (at least when they’re not leaping tall buildings in a single bound).
